Dr. Ali Tanara is a Periodontist at The Accolade Dental Centre in Yorkville
Dr. Ali Tanara, a 2016 graduate of Western University’s dental school, pursued advanced training through a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at Lincoln Hospital in New York City. During his residency, he gained extensive experience in various fields of dentistry, including managing patients with medical complexities and dental trauma cases.
After returning to Canada, Dr. Tanara practiced as a general dentist in Ottawa for three years, where his passion for periodontology and dental implantology grew. In 2023, he completed advanced graduate studies in periodontology at the University of Alberta, specializing in treating periodontal disease and dental implant procedures.
Dr. Tanara is a licensed periodontist who serves patients in Ontario. He is an active member of the Canadian and American Academies of Periodontology and holds fellowship status with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
In his free time, Dr. Tanara enjoys staying active through tennis, skiing, and exploring new destinations. His adventurous spirit complements his dedication to delivering exceptional periodontal care.
