Dr. Jack Slome
Dr. Slome has transformed hundreds of smiles, treated numerous celebrities and has appeared on Breakfast Television, Canada AM, City Pulse News and was featured on CityLine. In 1995 Dr. Slome established The Accolade Dental Centre and since, has built a solid reputation in customized patient service and cosmetic dentistry.
Esteemed for his comprehensive approach to EDUCATING patients, Dr. Slome’s passion for dentistry and dental cosmetics evolved from a broken front tooth at the age of ten.
He graduated FROM dental school in South Africa in the top 25% of the class and has been successfully consulting and treating dental patients since 1984.
Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Slome has been involved with the education of dental technologists and dental assistants. Previously on the education committee and former president of the Toronto Central Branch of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), he has been a councilor with the ODA for six years. Dr. Slome is also a member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is the founding member of the Toronto Cerec Study Club and is currently on the executive of the Toronto Central Dental Society.
With 20 years experience in dentistry and patient education, Dr. Slome enrolls in continuing education courses continuously to learn about new developments in cosmetic dentistry, ensuring he delivers superior service and information to his patients.
Dr. Slome enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading and most of all laughing.
Dr. Alena Bilic
Dr. Bilic was born in the former Czechoslovakia and graduated from the faculty of dentistry at the Charles University in 1974. In 1985 she received her license to practice dentistry in Canada.
Her commitment to quality patient care and the pursuit of excellence in dental treatments make her an irreplaceable addition to our team.
In her spare time Dr. Bilic enjoys music, good books and traveling.
Dr. Homam Albaghdadi
Dr. Homam Albaghdadi (pronounced il-bagh-dadi) completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2014. Following graduation, he completed a one year residency at Mount Sinai Hospital where he obtained special experience in e Accmergency and surgical dentistry, trauma management and treatment of patients with special needs. Furthermore, he is certified to provide moderate sedation using oral medication. He also holds a Master in Immunology from the University of Ottawa and has spent two years at the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa as an Associate in cancer imaging research. He is a published author of several scientific studies. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr Albaghdadi’s fascination with dentistry started with his early visits to the dentist as a child and continued to grow with his orthodontic treatments as an adolescent. He is a calm, passionate clinician who is keen on building strong rapport with his patients through simplified discussion of their dental and general health needs. He also has a growing interest in academia and education and enjoys teaching part time as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry.
In his spare time, he reconnects with his inner child playing recreational dodgeball and soccer. He loves creative writing, cooking, and is an aspiring cyclist and avid motorcyclist.
