He graduated dental school in South Africa in the top 25% of the class and has been successfully consulting and treating dental patients since 1984.

Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Slome has been involved with the education of dental technologists and dental assistants. Previously on the education committee and former president of the Toronto Central Branch of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), he has been a councilor with the ODA for six years. Dr. Slome is also a member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
With 20 years experience in dentistry and patient education, Dr. Slome enrolls in continuing education courses continuously to learn about new developments in cosmetic dentistry, ensuring he delivers superior service and information to his patients.

Dr. Slome is happily married with 3 children. His hobbies include reading, gardening, skiing - until he broke his hand, and spending valuable time with his kids.

Dr. Alena Bilic

Dr. Bilic was born in the former Czechoslovakia and graduated from the faculty of dentistry at the Charles University in 1974. In 1985 she received her license to practice dentistry in Canada.

Her commitment to quality patient care and the pursuit of excellence in dental treatments make her an irreplaceable addition to our team.

In her spare time Dr. Bilic enjoys music, good books and travelling.

Dr. Karam Ashoo

Dr. Ashoo completed his Endodontics specialty training at Columbia University in New York City. He comes to us with vast experience in advanced Endodontics techniques and microsurgery. He is part time faculty at the University of Toronto, instructing at the Graduate Clinic of the department of Endodontics. Dr. Ashoo is currently the Vice President of the George Hare Endodontics Study club, participating and hosting numerous continuing education courses.

Dr. Ashoo is an avid snow boarder, and 'up-and-coming' tennis player. He enjoys a good book, preferably en route to random travel destinations.

Denturist/Restorative Hygienist

Enrique

Enrique is Accolade Dental's in house denturist. A denturist is a specialist in the design, construction, fitting and adjustment of dentures, as well as overdentures on implants.

In addition Enrique is a restorative dental hygienist. A restorative dental hygienist is an experienced graduate dental hygienist who performs restorative procedures in addition to traditional preventive duties. Enrique will work very closely with Dr. Slome placing fillings, inserting crowns and performing orthodontic procedures.

Those who know Enrique know him to be committed and dedicated to what he does with a very gentle touch.

Update: Enrique now provides a service called Denturist on Wheels. Patients that need a denturist but are unable to get to our office can have Enrique come to them.

Sleep Apnea Doctor

Dr. Meyer Nimchonok

Dr Nimchonok graduated from the University of Manitoba Dental School. In Winnipeg, he ran a private practice for 35 years and taught part time at the U of M Faculty of Dentistry. He and his wife Shelley moved to Toronto 10 years ago to be closer to their son and daughter and now their 3 amazing grandchildren. Dr Nimchonok was retired for a few years and missed Dentistry and helping patients. He has now come back to practice with us and will be working mainly with patients who potentially have sleep apnea.

He has many hobbies which include golfing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. With his wife Shelley, he enjoys Travel, Theatre, Jazz and the Visual Arts.

Margo

I've been called a few other interesting and somewhat descriptive names by my clients. I've been a hygienist for over 21 years and have been with Dr. Slome for last 15 years. I still find it a challenging and fun profession.

Kristina

Kristina : I've been a hygienist with Dr. Slome for 12 years.I enjoy traveling in my spare time.

Lisa

I have been a hygienist with Dr. Slome for over 5 years now. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my little daughter and husband.

Marko

I work with Dr. Bilic, I was inspired to be in this field because of beautiful smiles. I spent a few years studying Dentistry, worked in Europe, the Middle East and now in Canada. I love traveling, swimming, biking and reading.

Tina

I've been working with Dr. Slome for a very long time and consider it a great privilege! On my days off I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and two beautiful children.
